If you have your files saved on a local server, adding the media from a URL to digital signage is a breeze. Enter the web URL of the video, gif or image and it’ll be uploaded to the Mvix software. An internet link is all you need.
In today’s digital world, sometimes the files you need aren’t on your computer but are instead on a server.
As digital signage relies on the content you upload, it’s sometimes necessary to pull the files directly from a URL or link.
With the added option of choosing when to update your content, you can control the content as needed.
With over a dozen of file types supported and the ease of keeping your content up-to-date, this app is perfect for server hosted content.
Just enter the url of your files once. When you update the files, for as long as the url remains the same, the file will automatically be updated on the software.
Use this feature to upload various types of content that match your branding/company values i.e. school-related pictures and videos.
Supported file formats include .bmp, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .mp3, .mp4(H.264), .ogg, .png, .svg, .wav, .webm and more.
